Checked Baggage
Air Pacific Passengers travelling to/from USA/Canada connecting to Pacific Sun will be allowed baggage allowance on Pacific Sun Domestic Flights as follows:
- Business Class - 66 lbs (30 kg) per piece max 2 piece
- Economy 50 lbs (23 kg) per piece max 1 piece
All passengers travelling on economy class to/from USA/Canada will be charged for the 2nd piece and additional pieces at FJD60.00 per piece.
Air Pacific Passengers from all other destinations connecting to Pacific Sun are entitled to the following allowances:
- Business class passengers 66 lbs (30 kg) per person
- Economy class passengers 50 lbs (23 kg) per person
Business class and Economy class passengers connecting from other carriers are entitled to 33 lbs (15 kg) per person on Pacific Sun
Please be aware that all Pacific Sun flights are weight restricted for safety reasons and that depending on load. Bags may not travel on same flights as passenger.
Unacceptable Items as Checked Baggage
Pacific Sun advises that the following items should not be included in your checked baggage and Pacific Sun accepts no liability for their damage or loss unless the items are identified and Pacific Sun has in writing accepted them for carriage:
• Cash or other valuable documents
• Jewellery, precious metals
• Any item of a fragile or brittle nature, e.g. glassware
• Electronics, e.g. computers, cameras, personal electronic devices
• Samples
• Any item that has insufficient packaging to withstand the normal circumstances and effects of carriage by air
• Personal medication
Excess baggage
Excess baggage charges apply when a traveler's checked-in baggage exceeds the free allowance either by weight or by the number of pieces permitted. Please refer to the table below to find out the applicable excess baggage fees for your journey.

Bulky items
Pacific Sun charges FJD100.00 per item for bulky items such as surf boards and golf clubs. This fee is in addition to any excess baggage fees that may apply.
